

Dean Lampers, age 94, passed from this life into his eternal home in Heaven on December 21st, 2024. As a family we rejoice that his body has been made whole again. He was born on April 2, 1930, in Marysville, WA to John and Gertrude (Van Lith) Lampers, and was one of 8 children.
He was married to Harriet (Terpstra) Lampers for almost 54 years and lived most of those years together in Snohomish. They were both very active in their church with faith, family and community always being very important to them.
Dean had a quick wit and was always ready with a joke and a smile. His easy-going personality and genuine kindness made him instantly likeable and a friend of many.
He spent most of his adult life working in the lumber mills, primarily at Nord Door company in Everett. He also worked for a time at Everett Pad & Paper.
Dean enjoyed singing in various choirs and choruses and immensely enjoyed his time singing with the Snohomish County Barbershop Chorus, The Windjammers. He had a beautiful rich voice, and you could often hear him singing along to favorite hymns at home. Dean also deeply enjoyed gardening and kept wonderful flower gardens at his house. Additionally, from a young boy, he enjoyed being outside and exploring nature with friends and family.
He was extremely proud of his grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and loved to share pictures and stories of them. He also took great delight in spending time with his other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 of his siblings, his wife and many other relatives and friends.
He is survived by daughter Twila (Ron) Zard; grandchildren Caleb (Monica) Zard; Kendria (Colin) Fisher; Taryn Zard and great-grandchildren Oliver and Riley Zard, his sister Trudy (Lampers) Haveman and various nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Dean at 2pm on January 18th at Everett Christian Reformed Church, 1429 McDougall Ave Everett, WA 98201
