Gloria Marie Shofner, born February 25, 1942 in Long Prairie, MN, departed this life on December 27, 2024 in Monroe, WA. She was 82. Gloria had worked for many years as a caregiver at Regency Care Center in Monroe. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Gloria is survived by her daughter Jodi Sanger (husband Jason), her son Terry Shofner (wife Tamara), siblings George Tepley, Beverly Klatt, Linda Keane, Dale Tepley, Kenny Tepley, Danny Tepley, Bruce Tepley, Bonnie Standridge, and Connie Hoeppner, and grandchildren Reilly Shofner and Carter Sanger. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Leroy Shofner, daughter Shelly McEwen, and grandson Shawn McEwen. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2PM at Snohomish Community Church, 13622 Dubuque Rd., Snohomish, WA 98290. Memorial donations in her name may be made to The American Lung Association.
