John Daniel Kershner, 23, of Monroe, Wash., died suddenly on July 26, 2014 as a result of injuries suffered in a preventable car motorcycle collision. He is survived by his parents, Jerry Kershner and Karenlea Albin-Kershner; sister, Melissa Bolgen (Bret); brother, Eric Kershner; niece, Evelyn Claire Bolgen; and soul mate and best friend, Emily Dir. John also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. John's quiet demeanor, sense of humor and kindness made many friends. John graduated from Monroe High School in 2009 where he excelled in Tech Ed., specifically wood working. John's love of working with his hands was part of him all his life. John touched many lives throughout his short life and will be missed. A service celebrating John's life will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cascade Community Church, 14377 167th Ave SE, Monroe, Wash., 360-794-4600.
