Treasured Rose
Always in the springtime
When life comes forth anew
The roses bloom and flourish
Embracing morning's dew
Emerging from the winter's chill
Held in death's grip no more
Strengthened now by resting
Through all storms gone before
Clothed in perfect rosey hue
Poised in seasoned grace
That only living life can give
Each moment leaving trace
Of treasures hidden deep inside
Wrapped in velvet folds
Shown always in the springtime
Proof death has lost its hold
