Dorothy Oakley Trout, age 87, of Thousand Oaks, California passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Costa Mesa, California. Dorothy was born December 22, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to her parents William and Dorothy Ida Oakley. Dorothy was a Thousand Oaks, California for 51 years where she build many memories with her family.
Dorothy earned her Bachelor's Degree at San Jose State and was a teacher for 13 years. She took great pride in teaching her students. During her spare time she joined the AOTT Sorority Club.
Dorothy was a great lady with an amazing heart. She will greatly be missed by many but most of all her daughters and grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by daughter Alison Braunstein; and daughter Candace Pool, 4 grandkids and an abundance of extended family and friends.
