On Sunday, February 9, 2025, Eugene "Gene" Frank Tolosa, 94, passed away in his sleep. Born on January 3, 1931, in Covina, California, Gene grew up in El Monte with his loving parents, Jose and Candida Tolosa, an older brother, Joe, and younger sister, Lucille.
Gene married Dianne Kriss on September 3, 1960. They had three children, Wayne, Nadine, and Marlene, whom they raised in Glendora, CA. Gene and Dianne retired in Coarsegold, CA where they lived the last 29 years.
Gene is survived by his wife of 64 years Dianne Tolosa, his son Wayne Tolosa, daughters Nadine Tolosa, and Marlene Tolosa-Fairbrother, son-in-law John Fairbrother, and his two grandchildren Makenna and Davis Fairbrother. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Candida Tolosa, and younger sister Lucille (Tolosa) Nogues.
