

Grace Parga was born in Los Angeles, California, on November 16, 1952. She grew up in Los Angeles and lived in Arcadia California. On Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at USC Hospital in Los Angeles, Grace lost her battle to Cancer and was 63 years of age.
She was born to Rafael and Herlinda Parga. She was the oldest of 5 children. Her siblings were Rick, Linda, Ralph and Irene. Grace loved her family and maintained a close relationship with all of her siblings. Grace was married twice however unmarried during her time of death. She attended Pasadena City College and obtained her Broker's license and Coding License. Grace was an entrepreneur who dabbled in several businesses. From selling wigs to movie stars at the age of 18 at Rene' of Paris directly with Rene' himself to owning her own jewelry, crystal, insurance, vacuum, pottery and coding businesses, Grace was a true business women. She thrived as an owner, landlord, leader and had an excellent business acumen. However, after owning her insurance and pottery business for several years, Grace decided to work as a Project Manager for 15 years at Kaiser Permanente. Her entrepreneurial ways also provided her with a coding license for medical coding and she obtained her teaching credentials to become a Teacher for coding on weeknights and some weekends. She did this for 15 years and planned to continue when she retired. She loved to teach. She had found her passion and loved her students.
Grace is survived by her mother and 4 siblings. She is also survived by her 3 children, Danny, Michael & Christine Salcido. Grace was a loving grandmother who is survived by her 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Julie, Shane, Alexandra & Jamie Salcido.
