I struggle with the loss of my grandfather who meant so much to so many people. His smile was straight from the heart and his generousity was overwhelming. His love for family and his nuts and bolts could not be deterred. In his final days when he was weak and exhausted he still reached for the floor to kneal and pray to the God who loved him and finally took him home. Grandpa... enjoy walking streets of gold. Until we see you again and play our next round of 42!

I just found out today about Perry's passing.  A flood of memories of wonderful times hit me.  I did a search on the internet and found this site.  I think it is fair to say I never met someone who would help you as quickly him.  I haven't been out to El Mirage for some time, and apologize for this late entry.  I remember Thanksgiving dinner at his place and the Christmas parties at the El Mirage community center.  I remember our flight from El Mirage to El Monte with a grin.  I know Perry had a special connection with God, and am confident he is doing well.

I always enjoyed my conversations with Perry over the years and just wished that my husband Bill and I had lived closer. My wonderful daughter-in-law and how she was raised is a tribute to Jack and Renee but also to Perry and his wonderful wife Bev; both so close to Lavonue and Shelly.  His relationship with our Grandsons, Garrett, Andrew and Graycen will always be a part of their memories, especially for the older boys who grew up for the past 17 and 15 years with Perry as their Great Grandpa.
