Died at age 80
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Robert Alan Griffin. Bob was born in Monterey Park, CA, on the 20th of September 1943 and died in Arcadia, CA on the 24th of March, 2024. Preceding him in death are his parents Jack Griffin and Meryl Juvinall, along with siblings Ginger Thompson, Warren Griffin, Gary Griffin, and his son, Wayne Griffin.
Bob leaves behind his partner Connie Ream of 30 years, and his brother, Jack Griffin. He is also survived by his daughter Renee and her wife Dawn Griffin of California, along with grandchildren Jessica (and her husband Thomas Flansburg), Rachel Griffin, Bella Ream, and Demy Griffin. Additionally, Bob is remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A dedicated father, Bob's love for Wayne and Renee knew no bounds. He dedicated over six decades to his career with Ford Dealerships. Bob had a passion for family, fishing, literature, music, estate sale trinkets, his feline companions, the lake house, his cactus garden, and especially his violets. Known for his serene demeanor, Bob had a remarkable ability to connect with others, offering wisdom, honesty, and kindness that left a lasting impact on those he encountered. His thoughtfulness, evidenced by his attention to detail and genuine hospitality, touched countless lives.
Bob's legacy extends beyond his physical presence; he imparted invaluable lessons on love, forgiveness, and personal growth. His memory will be cherished dearly, and his teachings will continue to inspire us all. Bob Griffin will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will forever resonate in our hearts.
