

Suzanne Eileen Axt ( Zareh) passed away peacefully in Glendale, California, on July 29, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on February 23, 1945, in Los Angeles, Suzanne was the beloved daughter of Edward Zareh and Ruby Eileen Merrill.
A proud graduate of Reseda High School, Suzanne went on to earn an associate's Degree in Nursing from Pasadena City College and received her master's Degree in health care management in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles. Her dedication to her profession was evident in her work with the Professional Organization "Association of Operating Room Nurses.", where she made a significant impact.
Suzanne’s passions extended beyond her professional life. She was an avid traveler, enjoyed quilting, and delighted in baking cakes for special occasions. Her creativity and warmth touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered fondly for her generosity and joyful spirit.
Suzanne leaves behind her cherished children, Jennifer and her husband Victor Todorov, and Brian and his wife Roxanna Axt. She was a loving grandmother to Jenna, Darrin, and Ethan. Suzanne is also survived by her sister, MaryLynn Bussell, and her husband Chuck Bussell.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Emil Axt, her parents Edward Zareh and Ruby Eileen Merrill, her step-parents Benjamin May and Ruth Geraldine Van Fleet, and her sister Eleanor Hanks.
A viewing service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Live Oak Memorial Park Chapel, located at 200 E Duarte Rd, Monrovia, CA 91016. Funeral services will follow the next day, August 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with burial at Live Oak Memorial Park.
Suzanne will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of her presence.
