I didn’t find out until yesterday. I’m very sad to have lost my friend. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I’ve worked with Victor for a bit and he was just one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He was very Nice and funny and always calm.
Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed by many.

My deepest condolences to you all. I remember Vic always smiling and giggling. Whenever we had family gatherings, he always asked how I was doing, how my son was doing? He always engaged in a genuine conversation. To him I owe how to make gravy from scratch. I’ll never forget, we were at Norah’s house for some sort of celebration and he was the cook, roast beef I believe it was… He took the time to teach me and explain in detail the process (I was so young), which I’ll never forget. I remember him loving the great outdoors; the type of athletic equipment said it all, he was fearless! Vic, you’ll always be remembered and I know your family will miss you every single day.  Rejoice in heaven, know that you’ll be kept in my prayers.

I went to high school with Victor but got to know him better when we worked together at the LA Times.  Victor was a hard worker and never hesitated to offer his help when someone needed it. Back then I also met Victor’s sisters, his brother Mathew and his parents.  When interacting with his family it was clear that they made him happy and that Victor was loved. Later on in our friendship I remember him telling me about his wife Maria before they got married. I don’t recall his exact words but what stood out was how proud he was of her. Although we lost touch over the years, Victor was still one of the kindest and loyal people I’ve ever met. My deepest sympathies to the Gomez family. 


This is so hard for me to write because Victor was a good part of my life, he felt like a brother.. You gave me sooo many memories so many good life experiences. We've climbed mountains together to 14 thousand feet, family barbecues, bought cars an property together, started businesses together, move our families to different areas together, we loved the outdoors fishing, hiking, mountain biking, river rafting. You left to soon RIP my friend, my brother, it's been hard for me to let go because I wasn't ready RIP. We were supposed to grow old together as friends never stop visiting an taking trips together fishing together. You taught me many things in life never stop, perseverance, innovation, strive to get to the next level but always have fun doing it with a smile. You even taught me something at the end  you always ask me to go visit, I wish I did more, miss you Bro RIP. We have so many stories we created together I will never forget you Brother RIP.

Victor was a realtor partner I admired and deeply respected. He was a kind and respectful man who was hard working and generous. He was committed to family and loyalty was a defining characteristic to who he was as a man. My heart aches for his beautiful wife and children. Victor is a deep and tragic loss. A wonderful person and he touched many lives. The heavens gained an Angel.

I GUESS IT WAS YOUR WAY AT SAYING GOOD BYE TO US. MY MOM AND POP LOVED YOU LIKE THERE OWN 7 KIDS. THE MEMORIEZ WE HAD BACK IN THE DAYZ ARE PRICELESS.  WE LOVE YOU ! I remember our quest to get our first communion completed. We were a decade too old maybe two, in Mexico, and tia maggie was giving us the lowdown. We were so nervous and worried we didn't know our prayers (in SPANISH). We practiced and practiced and PASSED! Then we headed to TJ for your wedding. It was such a fun night. I enjoyed being in your wedding and I'm so lucky that you were part of ours. We will miss you! 

So many memories but what stands out the most is your laughter and smiles. I loved listening to your stories you were always up to something and you were so proud of your sons. Rest easy primo 🙏🏼♥️
