Carlos Valdez

Carlos B. Valdez was born on September 11, 1942 to Lorenzo Valdez Cardenas and Maria de Los Angeles Navarrete Arcila in Merida, Yucatan. He was raised in Merida, Yucatan where he went to school and worked there until his late 30's. He migrated to California for a better life in which he was able to found work as a painter. He excelled so much in his work that he became a Master Painter specializing in Wood Restoration and in Antique Furniture Imitation.

Carlos passed away on December 2, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Herminia L. Valdez, his four daughters, his sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren,one brother and two sisters. He lived a full life surrounded by his family, he was greatly loved and admired, and will be missed dearly.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel, 913 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, California 90640. A servicio funebre will occur Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 913 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, California 90640. A sepelio will occur Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Live Oak Memorial Park, 200 E. Duarte Rd., Monrovia, California 91016.
