With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria de Los Angeles Araujo, at the age of 93, on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Los Angeles, California. Maria, a kind and beautiful soul, was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico, and touched the lives of all who knew her with her grace, warmth, and unwavering love.
Maria’s life was one of devotion to family and community. Her strength, compassion, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Miguel Araujo, whose devotion to her was a testament to their deep bond.
The legacy Maria leaves behind is one of profound love, kindness, and resilience. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were privileged to be part of her remarkable life.
A visitation to honor and celebrate Maria's life will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Montebello, located at 913 West Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640.
Maria will be laid to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park, where she will find eternal peace.
In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the memories of her love, her laughter, and her boundless generosity. Though she has left this world, Maria’s spirit will forever remain with us.
