

Anne was born in Hillsboro, Oregon to Donald H. Shelton and Janet Lewis Shelton. She was a post-partum nurse at Brookwood Medical for several years. Anne was also a member of First Methodist Church of Clanton. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano.
Anne was preceded in death by her son, David "Rex" Darrow, Jr.; son-in-law, Bobby Hadnott; grandson, Wilder Crowson; and brother, Hank Shelton. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Bamberg; daughter, Michele Ryan (Jeff) of Madisonville, LA and Rachel Hadnott of Sugarland, TX; son, Mark Darrow (Bridgette) of Spanish Fort, AL and Joshua Darrow of Brookside, AL; stepchildren, Daniel Bamberg (Stefanie) of Birmingham, AL, Kandice Crowson (Jeremy) of York, AL and Stephanie Sparks (Jackson) of Birmingham, AL; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Hendry and Joan Keaster, both of California; several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of ExpectCare Hospice for their compassionate care.
A visitation will be held on December 29, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Rockco Funeral Home, located at 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama, 35115, with the funeral service to follow at 10:30 am. Pastor Wes Kelley will officiate.
A committal service will take place at the Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama, 35115, starting at 11:45 am on the same day.
The family requests any memorial donations be directed to First Methodist Church of Clanton.
