Bobbie resided in the Pea Ridge community of Shelby County and was a dedicated member of Macedonia South Baptist Church.
She was retired from Kingwood Christian School (1993-2002). Ms. Bobbie loved her preschoolers and left a lasting impact on each one of them. She loved them like her own.
Greeting her upon her glorious arrival in heaven were her husband, Thurman Mitchell; grandparents (Papa and Mama); The Reverend William Washington Warren and Leler Warren; her parents, Oliver and Ollie; siblings, Wayne and Joe; granddaughter, Diana; niece, Tina; and sister-in-law, Annette.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dan Johnson, the Love of her life and a wonderful companion for the past 22 years; sons, Frank (Sherry), Rick (Alice) and Mike (Michelle); step children, Danny (Karen), James (Rose) and Dana; and siblings, Bill, Ronnie, Jimmy and Gina.
She was a proud Grandmother (Nanny) to 21 grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 26 great grandchildren.
Our precious family matriarch loved the Lord our God with all her heart, with all her soul and with all her strength (Mark 12:30) and she loved her family and friends with the same spirit.
Her life exemplified Cor 1:13 – And now these three remain; faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
We will celebrate her earthly life and her now everlasting life on June 24, 2022 at Macedonia South Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the funeral service starting at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow the funeral service at Macedonia South Baptist Church Cemetery.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.rockcofuneralmontevallo.com for the Johnson family.
