Bryan Keith Cole, age 62, of McCalla, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. Bryan was born Monday, August 17, 1959 in Smyrna, Tennessee to Aubrey Cole and Ruth Templeton, where he was raised along with four siblings. Bryan graduated from Middle Tennessee College with a BA in Engineering. After graduation, he went on to join the US Army. During his service, Bryan specialized as a Nike Missal Launcher Repairman, earned his expert badge in M-16 and expert badge in grenades. Upon his return home, Bryan began his career as a quality and technical engineer and raising a family. Over the years, his favorite places to work were Nissan, Mercedes, SMP and Lear.
Bryan was always a free spirit. He loved being in nature, camping, and traveling to the many wonders across the United States. He was a perpetually disappointed Tennessee Vols fan. He was also an avid golfer and had a tradition of golfing with his golf buddies in Tennessee as often as they could. He was a member of Lakeview Country Club. He enjoyed attending the United Methodist Church in Millbrook and his marriage was rooted in their faith in God. His greatest joy in life was watching his children and grandchildren grow. He was so proud of the people his children had become and his grands could not ask for a better "Pops".
Bryan will join in heaven his parents, Aubrey Cole and Ruth Cole Madlock; brothers, Steven Cole and John Anthony Cole; and sister, Lisa Gail Cole.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 17 years, Karen Cole; children, Ashley Harry (Dewayne) and Justin Cole (Lauren); stepchildren, Destiney Acosta (Joey) and Mitchell Howton; grandchildren, Oliver and Davis Faciane, Alexis, Addison, Emmett and Willow Cole, and Aaliyah Acosta; brother, Mark Cole (Sandy); and his best pup, Charlie.
Bryan was such a fun-loving and giving person. He saw the good in everyone and because of his good nature, he attracted so many people to him. He would do anything for a friend in need. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and coworkers.
