It’s been 4 years since my best friend passed. I still think of him daily and relive memories in my head. I really wonder what he’s thinking of today’s America, considering all the recent happenings. Just like he loved his family and friends, he loved his country and was very passionate about the things that he felt. That’s another reason why I miss him so terribly. You were the best friend a person can have. I thank you and will always love you for that my friend.

Well, it’s been three years today since I lost one of my best friends ever. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you, Bryan. You could always make me laugh, and you were always a friend. They say time heals, but I believe it’s still hurts today as much as it did three years ago. You were a phenomenal friend and Phi Sig/DBS Brother and I will always love you and remember you.

One of my best friends ever. Friends for 50 years. I think about Bryan daily. My thoughts and prayers will always be with his wife, Karen and their family. Loads of memories that I will cherish always.

I only knew Bryan from having worked with him at MBUSI for a number of years.  Later, we also became friends on Facebook.

He definitely had a great reputation for spreading laughter and joy wherever he went.

It was a pleasure to have known him.

It is very tragic that he has been taken from us so soon.

Bryan and I go back 50+ years. I don’t know if I ever met a funnier person in my life. He was the one who no matter how bad of a day you were having could always bring you out of it with his off the wall sense of humor. One of my favorite characteristics of Bryan what’s his commitment to the things he cared about and believed in. He loved the Lord, his country. and his friends. His biggest commitment was to his family. He worshiped and adored his wife Karen and loved his kids and grandkids so much. And during the last several conversations I had with Bryan the most recent on his last birthday after we did our normal catch-up reminiscing, the subject always turned to our families. Those of you who know both of us no I could go on and on about our memories over the many years but I would have to write a book to share them. All the memories were special and I will cherish them. They say time heals, but Bryan’s passing is difficult to accept. All of us who know Bryan are devastated by the loss of our friend. I love you my brother and friend. Go be with God. And tell Aubrey, Ruth, Steve, Lisa, and John I think of them as well and know all are at peace.

The best Dad a girl could wish for. I love and miss you so much. 

Met Bryan many years ago and became friends instantly. Always a smile and a firm handshake, plus that great sense of humor. You could count on that from Bryan any time you saw him. I remember one time he had some coffee at our house and  I found out that he had commented later that it was 'kinda weak, kinda crappy'... Anyone that's knows me, knows I don't make weak or crappy coffee, only the best and often rather... Strong. So next time he came over, I immediately presented him with some curiously strong coffee... Told him I had heard about his comments, and to 'try this'! He did, drank about half of it and said 'well, I guess we won't be sleeping tonight'!  I laughed and said, 'want some more?' which he declined with a laugh. A damn good man that slipped away from us too soon, but as we've seen over and over, God always has a plan. Fly high my brother, and know that you definitely left a mark here! Below is a recent picture of that day he was at our house:

Met Bryan and Karen at a Halloween party at Doug and Gillian Hall's house...he was a great guy and will be missed

Will always cherish the laughs with Bryan whether on the golf course in our golf league or hearing the stories about driving the RV and all the adventures that came with that. Prayers for the family! You will be missed buddy. Rest easy. 

Bryan and I spent many fun days as kids . His nickname was bird nest. We used an old Indian trick taught to me by an old Indian. Since we had no lock for our bikes we would tangle them together so we  could know if someone was messing with them. I spoke to him recently and it was awesome.
Godspeed Bryan

Bryan and I worked together at Mercedes for many years.  We could just look at each other and start laughing.  He also used to live around the corner from me in Southwood Highlands in Hoover.  He used to tease me that I lived in the high rent district because I lived behind the brick sign "The Grove" where we had sidewalks, iron street lamps and street signs.  He also had a beagle named Homer that would break out of his yard and come visit my two bichon girls, Friskie and Snickers.  He could always find Homer at my house.  I won't tell you what he said about that!  He brought so much joy and laughter to all that crossed his path.  He will be greatly missed by all.  My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. He was a good uncle and family member  uncle bryan I going to miss u .you are going to  be up there  with  everyone  I love u n miss u  u are in a better place   no pain and anything. I love u josh Underwood  mary medlock son.

I remember meeting Bryan and inviting him and his wife to Werc radio many years ago. 

I worked with Bryan at Mercedes, and have known him for over 20 years.  Bryan was so full of life, this just doesn't seem real. I'll never forget one day in the grocery store when I looked over and saw someone taking off with my cart, with his cap pulled down.  I said "excuse me sir" and he kept going.  So then I said "EXCUSE ME SIR" even louder and nearly tackled him.  Then Bryan looked up at me and started laughing!  He brought joy to everyone he was around, and and that's a great gift from God. I'm sure he has everyone in Heaven in stitches,  and I look forward to seeing him again.  My heart felt love and prayers go out to his family.
