Clyde Sterling Kellum lll of Shelby County, Alabama was born on April 19, 1943 in Sparta, Illinois to Clyde Sterling Kellum, Jr. and Mildred Augusta Cain Kellum. Clyde went to his heavenly home on May 2, 2023 after a short illness. He was a member of Columbiana United Methodist Church. Clyde graduated from Hueytown High School in 1961 and the University of Montevallo (Alabama College) in 1966. He was a US Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy Chambers Kellum; daughter; Anne Lugar (John); son, Clyde S. “Kelly” Kellum lV (Beth); grandsons, Brad Lugar (Chace), Andrew Kellum and Patrick Kellum; and great-grandsons, Sterling and Brody Lugar.
A Memorial Service for Clyde will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Columbiana United Church at 12:00 noon.
