James Maynard Denney, age 76, of Calera, passed away August 18, 2016. He built Denneys Mobile Park in Alabaster, which he owned until 2000. He was kind-hearted to a fault, and the hardest working jack-of-all-trades around. James was a wonderful, loving, generous husband. He was a great father. He will be missed tremendously.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Helen Denney; sons, Randy Denney (Cindy) and James Denney; step-daughter, Audrea Cravens (West) of Odessa, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Autry Davis; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). His graveside service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 2:00PM at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
