I cant believe it has been one year already.  May you find peace and know we are thinking about you. 

John was a great friend & Army buddy. We both served in Augsburg, Germany in the mid-'60s however, in different units. We got to know each other as members of The 24th Infantry Division Association. John was the association's Membership Volunteer, fielding many phone calls regarding how to join our organization. We traveled to many association reunions meeting for a few days of comradery.  John & I spoke on the phone many times over the years on almost any subject. He will be missed tremendously. May he rest in peace.  Tom Appler,  CWO-4  US Army (Ret.)

Sorry to just hear about John's passing. He was a member of the 24th Infantry Division Association and served in Germany with the 24th Infantry Division. He will be missed by all of us members. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear John,
You're greatly missed at your favorite groups which you were an inspiration and power of example for many years.   I enjoyed our discussions on WWII aircraft, engines, material, and logistics. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

John was a wonderful guy he was very active in service in my home Group was a pleasure to know him may he Rest In Peace! He’s at peace no more struggle! He’s with his creator!!!

I’m quite saddened to hear of your transition John.  It was a privilege and pleasure to get to know you a bit over zoom on our meetings during our lockdown.

I only knew John for about 8 months in the fellowship.  I found John to be witty, thoughtful and most important supportive.  His stories were always fun to listen to.  I grew up in Boston and was very familiar with Eastern Airlines.  I would not be surprised if our paths crossed during those days.

He will be missed.

When I would go to our Thursday meetings in the church hall it was always a good feeling to see John there. He was so unassuming and always shared from the heart that I always looked forward to hearing from him. He was always helping out before and after  and was so pleasant to talk with. The meeting with not be the same without him there in his usual spot. We will miss him. May he rest in peace!

John was always a good friend to me. I'll miss those talks we had. RIP  MY FRIEND.
