Jon graduated from Montevallo High School in 2021. He was a welder for CMC for about a year. Jon loved Alabama football, fishing, hunting and the lake.
He was a beloved husband, father, son, grandson, brother and friend.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Mack Lawley.
Jon is survived by his wife, Tyler Blackerby; daughter, Hazel Marie Blackerby; son, Zachary James Blackerby; parents, Angela “Angie” and Eric Blackerby; grandparents, Sherry Lawley and Teresa Blackerby; brothers, Andrew Blackerby and Matthew Blackerby; sister, Ashlyn Blackerby; nephews, Daxton Blackerby and Levi Blackerby; niece, Madison Blackerby; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A visitation for Jonathan will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. Following the visitation will be a graveside at 1:30 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, 671 Co Rd 22, Montevallo, AL 35115.
