On Thursday, Feb. 4th, Nelda Malone Lowery of Calera, age 73, went to be with her heavenly Father. The funeral service was held Saturday Feb. 6th at 11 a.m. at Rockco’s Funeral Home and the burial followed at Shelby Memory Garden.
Ms. Lowery is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lowery. She is survived by her children, Jeff Stewart (Vicki) and Don Lowery. Grandchildren: Dalton and Alan Stewart, Taylor and Alex Lowery. Sisters: Faye Hylton and Ruby Burroughs with many nieces and numerous family members. She will be greatly missed and we know that she walked through those gates singing and celebrating.
