Oliver Dan Collum

Oliver Dan Collum, age 53, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 31, 2023. He spent his entire career as an employee of Walmart in Clanton. Dan enjoyed watching football and collecting guns. He was quiet and kept to himself, but he was well loved and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Mae Cleckler Collum; father, Oliver Donald Collum, Jr.; his maternal grandmother, Rosa Mae Cleckler; maternal grandfather, Gene Cleckler; paternal grandmother, Bertha Estelle Collum; and paternal grandfather, Oliver Donald Collum, Sr.

Dan is survived by his step-mother, Gloria Collum; step-sister, Roberta Nance (Shane); step-brother, James Floyd; aunt, Betty Robinson; uncle, James Edward Cleckler; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Hwy 25 S, Montevallo, AL 35115. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Thorsby, Alabama. Bro. Jeff Carroll will officiate.
