Ray Marlin Griffith, age 86, of Pelham, Alabama passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. He worked for General Electric and retired after 13 years in 2001. Many people would remember him as an appliance repair man for them. He was known to be a very generous person and would do anything for someone in need. His love for God is the only thing that exceeded his love for his family.
Ray is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pam Griffith of Pelham; daughter Ramona Griffith Minas (Mark) of Pelham; grandchildren, Evan Minas of Pelham, Jesse Minas of Alabaster, Joshua Minas of Lakewood, CO, John Minas of Pelham and Elizabeth Minas of Hoover; two great-grandchildren, Laila Edwards and Levi Minas; and a host of family members that he loved dearly.
A visitation for Ray will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kingwood Church, 100 Harvest Way, Alabaster, AL 35007, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Bro. Mark Sims will officiate.
Ray will be laid to rest in Pelham City Cemetery, Highway 105, Pelham, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Missions at Kingwood Church.
