After graduating from Thompson High School in Alabaster, AL, Ronald went straight into the workforce. He spent more than 30 years as a crane operator for the local union, 312 Engineering Operators. When he wasn't at work, Ronald enjoyed fishing, or taking trips to the beach with his children. Ronald was a friendly man who loved to laugh and make others laugh especially his grandchildren who loved their "Paw-Paw" dearly.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Cooper; and brothers, Ricky Allen Cooper and Michael Cooper.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Amy Leigh Cooper and Emily Amanda Cooper; grandchildren, Kyleigh Ann Lewis and Cameron Levi Majors; sisters, Sandra Michelle Cooper and Faith Cooper; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service for Ronald will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Shady Grove Cemetery in Randolph, Alabama.
