There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of Mrs.Robertson, miss her more and more! I miss her phone calls,notes,drop by(s),sweet treats and most of all her hugs and someone I can talk to. I love you,forever! Fly high sweet Angel.

Ruth had another name, it was "follow-up"! Once she learned of a senior in jeopardy she was on the case.  Checking with the student, teachers, and home until she was assured this senior was going to be there in line with cap and gown, and Ruth's smile was as big as the parent's! So many can smile with the memories of this fine Christian lady.

Ed, our hearts are broken!  Ruth was such a totally beautiful lady and friend.  She exhibited her strong Faith in every moment of life and was a tremendous inspiration to all her knew and loved her.  She already is truly missed!
May God wrap his loving arms around you and the family and give you comfort, forever.

You must know how deeply saddened I was over your loss. Ruth Robertson was one of my  dearest friends and she has always been a special person to my entire family. My daughters, Neko and TiaLeigh thought a lot of her.  She has touched us in such an amazing way with her.love. We will miss her very much.

I could always rely on her whenever I needed help, whether with a my daughter Neko (who has passed away) that she was always so willing to help me with. I came to trust her judgment and wisdom as well and her advice was always so well thought out and helpful. 

She was truly a great woman of God and I know our lives will never be the same without her. I could never find a better and more caring friend.

Mrs. Robertson was an amazing woman. She was my guidance counselor at Thomson High School in 2003. She made a huge impact in my life. She believed in all her students and strived to help them succeed. She was a true blessing. Mrs. Robertson will be missed but never forgotten.

Mrs. Robertson you will truly be missed!!!! Such a sweet woman who really just had a love for people. I will never forget you.

Mrs Robertson  was  a very special  lady in my family's  life. We endured  several tragic  moments with my Father's  battle  with cancer  and  the  loss  of him,  the shock of losing  my nephew  at a young age , and my own battle  with cancer  that is on going.  She  was  always  there  for an encouraging  word,  prayer  or hug.  Peace and  prayers  for this wonderful  family.

Ed, Renee, Cam, and families, our hearts were saddened to receive the news of Ruth's passing.  She was one of the kindest people I have ever known.  What a legacy she leaves behind! This sweet lady will be missed dearly! I was fortunate to have her as my councilor at MES and THS, she was an angel! Then later I took care of her at my job, I was so happy she remembered me. Truly heaven sent!!

I have never known a kinder soul than our sweet Ruth. She was made of pure love and goodness, and I don't imagine that there was a single life she touched that was not enriched for the better. We will miss her terribly, but are so grateful to have known and loved her. Sending wishes for peace and comfort to Ruth's beautiful, loving family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Ruth was a wonderful teacher and friend.  I met her when I was a teacher in Montevallo.  We met again when she was my daughter's friend and counselor at Thompson High.  She served her students and the community well.  We will miss her.

Miss Ruth was a blessing when my father died.  Her and my mothers friendship ran deep. All the things I read in her obituary are not a surprise.  You could sense she was a special lady who served her Lord faithfully.

Ruth Robertson was so very special. She was one of the most significant adults in my life when I was a young person, and I'm certain I would not be the person I am today without her. Ruth has been an inspiration to me as a counselor at the Montevallo High School. Not only was she an inspiration in the schools, but also in the community. Joe, Andy, Beth and I send our love and prayers to Ed, Renee, Cam and families. Ruth's life was living water to all whose lives were touched by her. We know she was greeted by our Savior with out stretched hands as he said "Enter into my Kingdom my good and faithful servant". She was the first person to welcome me into her home for coffee when we moved to Montevallo, and became a dear friend. I have never known a more gentle, gracious, and loving person.  We should all aspire to be just like her. Thanks be to God for her beautiful life!

 My heart is so heavy at the loss of Ruth. She was one of the godliest women  I have ever met. The love of Jesus not only radiated on her face but in the way she  livedj her daily life.  She was such a blessing and inspiriration to me. I cannot express how much she ans Ed have meant to me at University Baptisi Church.  I am so, so sorry.  We have truly lost a saint.

I am so sad to hear of the death of Ruth Robertson, however, my major emotion is one of JOY for having known Ruth.  From the moment I met Ruth I knew she embodied the meaning of her name.  Ruth always displayed love for all people, because Jesus was truly alive in her heart.  She was the definition of FRIEND and COMPANION.  
She and her loving companion Ed were the perfect couple.  God is so good to have allowed so many people to be touched by Ruth and Ed Robertson.  Ruth will be missed but her spirit lives on in so many lives.

Sending prayers of peace for Ruth's family. She was such a dear friend to me for many years. She was always a source of love and encouragement. She truly was an angel walking on this earth. Fond memories of Ruth include ... seeing her smile each morning as she was the first to greet students and faculty at Mintevallo Elementary, dinner at her house for teams of teachers from Montevallo Elementary, her phone calls, texts, or emails on my birthday( she never missed a one) , her never ending compassion and love. I am a recipient of Mrs. Robertsons wisdom, grace and compassion. The most kind and sincere person I have ever had the privilege of knowing.  Just being around her made you feel like a better person. We will never know the thousands of lives she impacted because most of her work was without the spotlight or recognition.  I lost my friend and mentor.

Ruth was always kind to me, as she was to all of Dr. Robertson's students. I know she will be greatly missed. I am thinking of Dr. Robertson and his family.

Mrs Robertson was the first person to welcome me as a new student to Thompson High School. She made me feel welcome and encouraged me to join the marching band. Without her encouragement and guidance I would not have eased into a new school as easily as I did. Mrs Robertson continued to encourage and guide me throughout my high school career and truly made an impact on my life. She will be greatly missed!

It was with great sadness that we learned about the passing of this dear friend. I met Ruth and Ed in 2003 when I moved to Montevallo. What a beautiful soul. When I was around her, I wanted to be better, to do better. Thank you for your quiet calming light.

Mrs. Robertson was such a godly woman. She knew my husband and I by name and could tell you the major milestones in our lives. Such a precious and loving soul! She encouraged me to further my education and I loved her sweet smile and warm hugs! Heaven gained a true angel. We will miss you terribly. Thank you for having such a kind heart. I remember Mrs Robertson from Montevallo middle. She was a very sweet and caring lady. She will be missed.

I am so grateful to have had Mrs Ruth as my counselor at Thompson High over 10 years ago. I know the Angels are rejoicing in the beautiful homecoming of such a sweet spirit. Thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this time.
