She was born September 15, 1939 to Owen and Nellie Mae Richards. Sarah grew up in Brierfield and was a graduate of Bibb County High School. She was an active member of Centreville Baptist. Sarah and Wayne met when they were just 5 years old at a birthday party and have been sweethearts ever since.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Wayne; daughter, Reynosa Feldy; twin grandsons, Jess Feldy and Sam Feldy (Morgan McCary); and great-granddaughters, Kollins Feldy and Graylin McCary.
A visitation for Sarah will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 1pm - 2pm at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo. A funeral service will immediately follow.
