Annie 'Frances' Simmons passed away at her home in Montgomery, Alabama on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the age of 86. Frances was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, especially homemade biscuits.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, three siblings and infant daughter. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Lee Colquett and Betty Brunson; daughter, Judy King (Doial); and son, John B. Simmons, Jr. Lovingly known as "Mawmaw" to her grandchildren and great-grand-boys, she is survived by five grandchildren, Jason Cedrone, Ryan King, Summer Dunn, John B. Simmons, III and Amber Cox and seven great-grand-boys, John Simmons IV, Chason Cedrone, Trent Cedrone, Brayden Dunn, Preston Cox, John Michael Cox and Wesley Cox all of whom live in the Montgomery area.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Leak 11Memory Chapel in Montgomery, Alabama. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:15 am in Greenwood Cemetery.
