

CORLEY, Barry Glen passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2011 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Montgomery, Alabama where he had resided for the last 30 years after suffering injuries in an automobile accident in 1978. Barry was loved by everyone and he loved his nurses and family. He was preceded in death by his father Al Corley and is survived by his mother: Sue Corley-Barron and his stepfather, Jesse Barron; Brothers: John Corley; Buddy Corley and wife Laura; nieces: Miranda and Crystal Corley; nephews: Jeff Corley and wife Karen; John Corley Jr. and wife Dawn; 4 great nieces and 2 great nephews; Grand-mother: Irene Franks of Little Rock, Arkansas; “Special Aunt and Uncle” Elizabeth and Ed Reeves, also of Little Rock. Barry attended Jeff Davis High School where he played basketball. He was an avid “Roll Tide” fan. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm, Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at Leak Memory Chapel. Graveside services will be at 3 pm at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Corley, Stanley Wilson, Wayne Barron, Josh Taylor, Brandon Crombie, Ty Chappel and John Corley, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Cedar Crest Nursing Home.
