Bill also served as Chaplain of the Montgomery Sheriff's Department after retirement from full-time ministry. Loved by all and appreciated as a true "Pastor," he could be seen almost daily, in and out of hospital rooms, visiting the sick and sharing his infectious laugh and warm touch with everyone. Bill Baker never met a stranger. He will be missed; he will be remembered; and he will be celebrated this Friday, January 28th at Leak Memory Chapel. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at noon, with Reverend Doug McKinney officiating. A graveside service will be held afterward with Reverend Matt Hall presiding.
