Bill Boyd

William Thomas (Bill) Boyd, age 82, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter James Boyd and Susie Mae Julian Boyd; his sister, Annette Boyd; and his brothers, Pete Boyd, Buddy Boyd, and Sonny Boyd.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Bowser Boyd; his brothers, Joe Boyd and Eugene (Darlene) Boyd; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish the memories of their "Main Uncle Bill."

Mr. Boyd worked many years as a mechanic. As a talented musician, he played a multitude of instruments including clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano and many other stringed instruments. Many days and nights at home were spent listening to him play favorite songs. Bill was an outstanding athlete during high school and as an adult. He loved all sports and remained an avid fan of athletic events throughout his life.

A graveside service for Bill will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Julian / McQueen Cemetery, Juliantown Rd., Sandy Ridge, AL.
