She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl S. Young; father, W.R. Looney; mother, Helen Looney; brothers, William Looney Jr. and James Looney Sr., and sister, Rebecca Sloane.
Brenda is survived by her children, James Looney (Carolyn), Amanda Hawkins (Gary), Mark Grier (JoAnn), Brian Looney (Wendy) and Stephanie Irvine (Earl); 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Leak Memory Chapel, with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Perry Hill Road Baptist Church.
