Charles Eugene Batchelor was born in Greenville, Alabama on September 17, 1946, to the late H. R. and Irene Batchelor and passed away on June 25, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, David (Alexandra); two grandchildren, Cynthia & Cylene; two brothers, Richard Batchelor (June), Royce Batchelor (Penny) as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church until moving to Columbus, Georgia in 2016 and united with the Cascade Hills Church. He is a graduate of Fort Deposit High School and attended Massey Draughan Business College in Montgomery. He will be remembered for his love of Alabama football but most of all for his love of family and friends. A service to celebrate his life will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Teman Knight and Rev. Lee Wright officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow the service at the Little Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Fort Deposit, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Baptist Sr. Adult Ministry, 1849 Perry Hill Rd., Montgomery, AL 36106.
