Christie Lynn Smith

Christie Lynn Smith of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at the age of 50. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on September 6, 1973, to the late Robert (Claude) and Margie Cozart. She is proceeded in death by her father Claude Cozart, uncle Raymond Cozart, aunt Myrtle Cozart, cousin Ray Cozart, and Grandmother Ada Church.

Christie was a wonderful mother to her three children. Left to cherish her memory is her mother Margie Cozart, sons Zachary Smith and Tyler Smith, daughter Emily Smith, brother David Wood, niece Heather Wood, and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She will be remembered for her love, caring and devotion of her family, friends, and especially her children and fur babies.

A family and friends' visitation for Christie will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Leak Memorial Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life graveside service at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to your favorite women’s charity or an animal charity or pound.
