Clarice Kathleen Caldwell

Clarice Kathleen Crews Caldwell, Hope Hull, passed away at home on Friday Jan 13, 2012 after an extended illness one day after her 88th birthday. She was born Jan 12, 1924 in Carrollton, GA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Tuesday, Jan 17, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr Charles Smith officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 Monday, Jan 16. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Geneva and Luther McKay and Jimmy Crews; her husband of 58 years, David A. Caldwell; her son, David Larramore Caldwell; her brother, L. E. McKay, Jr. Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Linda and Sonny Turner; three grandchildren and spouses; Missy and Dr Tommy Garnett, Kim and Mark Milstead, Scott and LeAnne Turner. Seven grandchildren, Alyssa Spivey, Matthew, Joshua and Adam Garnett, Mac Turner, Forrest and Anabeth Milstead. Two special aunts: Dorothy Lowery and June Gillespie. Thank you to special caregivers: Lela Lowery, Delane Howard and Shannon Jordan. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons: Scott Turner, Tommy Garnett, Mark Milstead, Matthew Garnett, Forrest Milstead and cousin, Richard Patrick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hull United Methodist Church, 301 Wasden Road, Hope Hull, AL 36043 or your favorite charity.
