Col Clyde Lewis USAF (ret) Dodgen passed away peacefully on July 22nd at the age of 92. He was surrounded by his family, including his loving wife of seventy years, Laverne Dodgen. Col. Dodgen was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery. He served our country honorably for over 35 years and is a combat veteran of three wars. Col. Dodgen is the recipient of numerous service awards, the most distinguished being two Legion of Merit Awards and The Distinguished Flying Cross. In addition to his wile Laverne, Clyde is survived by daughter, Cheryl Lamp (Russ), and son Charles Dodgen (Marla). He is preceded in death by his daughter Marcy Bergey. Other family members include six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 1:30 PM, followed by his Funeral Service at 2:30 PM.
