

20, 2021. Dale was born, October 16,1962 in Montgomery, Alabama to Arthur VI. Whitney and
Vivian Whitney Wyllie, both preceding him in death as well as his sister, Geraldine Ward.
His survivors include his beloved wife, Debbie A. Whitney; children Rachel Whitney Roberts
(Parker); LeeAnn Goodson (Jason) and grandson Oliver "Ollie" Goodson and one sister, Judy
Whitney Savage (Phil) and many extended family. j
He was an IT Systems Specialist with Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT). He was a
member of Gideons International and various car clubs. He was a member of Dalraida Baptist
Church. Dale had a passion for hot rod sports cars, motorcycles and old classic movies like
Gunsmoke and The Andy Griffith Show.
Dale will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Dale
loved Jesus, family and his friends. He was always dependable to family and friends and
respected by all who knew him. To know Dale was to know true friendship and love.
The family asks that you join them in celebrating Dale's life on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at
Dalraida Baptist Church with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m.
celebration of life chapel service. Burial will follow in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens in
Montgomery, AL.

Montgomery, Alabama 36109 or online donations made in Dale's memory to St. Jude Children's
