Dan Warren, 75, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at East Memorial Baptist Church in Prattville, AL, with funeral services beginning at 3:00 P.M. Burial will take place in Greenwood-Serenity Cemetery with fire department honors. Mr. Warren was a retired Sergeant with the City of Montgomery Fire Department for 22 years. He was also a bus driver for 21 years with the Montgomery County Public schools. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry D. and Lilly Warren; two brothers and four sisters. Mr. Warren is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Melba D. Warren; sons, Ernest Parker (Sharon), Randy Parker (Donna), Tim Warren (Bernie), Steve Warren (Ashley) and Pat Warren; sister, Elizabeth Parham; brother, Joel Warren (Jean); and twelve grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions for the Alabama Disaster Relief Fund in honor of Dan Warren.
