She was born in Montgomery Alabama on December 25, 1956. Dawn graduated
from Jefferson Davis High School. Dawn had a career as a mail carrier for the
United States Postal Service. Her passion was music and dancing. She is survived
by her Mother, Margaret Sue Lindsey; Fiance', Lamar Taunton; Daughter, Lindsey
Preffer and Son, Stephen Phillips all of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by a
Grandson, Ian Drew Preffer and Godson, Jack McKay. A memorial service will be held
Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at Mulder United Methodist Church, on Firehouse Rd.,
in Wetumpka, AL with Pastor Mark Jackson officiating. Family will receive friends at
9:00 am, one hour prior to service.
