Doris Lovelady Watson

Doris L. Watson, 83, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed peacefully in her home Tuesday, August 28, 2012. She had suffered several years with Cardiomegaly and Congestive Heart Failure. She was born and raised in Lawley, AL, and graduated from Maplesville High School. She married Ray B. Watson, June 21, 1947, and settled in Montgomery, AL, in 1953.

As a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church, she helped raise two sons, Ray Daniel Watson and Scott Wayne Watson. She raised her sons in a Godly home, installing Christian values and standards in her sons, her family members and friends. She was very active in her church choir and all activities of the retired ministries of Trinity Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with her extended family.

Memorial services will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel Thursday, August 30, 2012, from 5:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel at 11:00 am August 31, 2012, with viewing at 10:00 am before services. Interment and graveside service will be at Memorial Heights Cemetery in Montgomery, AL.
