Dorothy Ann Sparks

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church. In 2022, Dorothy moved from Fairhope, AL to Montgomery.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Louise McCarver; her father, John L. McCarver; her beloved husband, Leslie Sparks; her sister, Helen Kilgore; her grandson, John Charles Mickler; and her grandparents, Helen and Walter Austin.

Dorothy is survived by her son, John Gregory Mickler; her daughters, Susan Elaine Teague and Anne Christensen; and her grandchildren, Kelly Dawn Mickler and Christopher Roquemore.

A Graveside Service will be held at Katy Moragne Hughes Cemetery, 499 S. First St., Gadsden, AL 35901, on April 9, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Open Acres Baptist Church, Maplewood Drive, Montgomery, AL.
