When I think back on my childhood, I think about the countless afternoons I spent with the Young family, and how wonderful those times were. Learning to roller-skate down the "big hill" of a driveway felt, at the time, like my greatest adventure, regardless of the skint knees and elbows. Never have I met a man with a kinder, gentler spirit than Mr. Steve, nor a man who loved sharing his love of history more. He and Brenda always treated me like another daughter anytime I was around them, and I will always remember their love for one another when they thought no one was looking. Please know you're all in my thoughts and prayers.

My special memories of Mr. Young is with my mother Jane Driskill at Yarbrough St church. My family was always active and we have interacted with the young family for most of my, Laura Driskill, younger years at church. My heart goes out to all the young family. Steve was a great soul to get to know and share times with.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing away of Earl. I worked with him many years ago. I remember him as a fine worker.

I am so sorry to learn of Earl's passing.  While working in the Location Section at the "Highway Department", Earl was always my GO-TO Guy for geometric design questions.  He knew his stuff, and was always willing to help.  I considered him a professional associate and a Friend.

Earl was one of my favorite people when I worked with him at the Highway Dept.  He was a fine and caring human being.  I am so sorry that the Lord has now taken him from our midst; however, the Lord's will shall be done.  It is my sincere prayer that God will be with Earl's family during this difficult time and that He makes known to all that He is there to comfort us if we but call upon Him.  I am a better person because I knew and cared about my friend Earl Young.
