Eileen Lovan Tarantino, 72, was a lifelong resident of Montgomery, Alabama. A member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, she graduated from Montgomery Catholic High and attended St. Mary Dominican College, worked as a Customer Service Representative for Alfa Insurance before retiring. Known for her willingness to go above and beyond to help, her wonderful smile and pleasing personality. Preceded in death by her Father, Edmund Lovan; her Mother, Ruth Strahorn Lovan and Brother in Law, John Kinevich. Survivors include her husband Richard Tarantino; Two children Christie Tarantino Dean (Doug) David Tarantino (Maureen Mullaney); Three sisters: Patricia Cucchiara (Roy), twin sister Jean Kinvevich, and Diane Stedman (Charles); Four Grandchildren David Tarantino, Jr., Laney Tarantino, Timmy Tarantino and Kelly Tarantino and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family would like thank the Respite Ministry, the staff of Prattville Health & Rehab and Kindred Hospice for their loving care during Eileen’s extended illness. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Respite Ministry of First United Methodist Church, 2416 W Cloverdale Parkway, Montgomery, AL 36106 in her name.
