Ella Ruth Mothershed Beasley, a long-time resident of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the age of 90. She was born on September 4, 1925, to Marvin and Ida Mothershed of Honoraville, Alabama, the fourth of nine children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ishmael and Cecil Mothershed, sister, Ida Belle Sims, and husband Wallace Beasley. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Cooper and her husband Raymond of Rockford, Alabama; Linda Hataway and Ron Linto of Millbrook, Alabama; Carol Holman and her husband Danny of Equality, Alabama; six grandchildren and spouses, Chris and April Hataway of Ochlocknee, Georgia; Amy Davis of Prattville, Alabama; Matt and Amellia Hataway of Honoraville, Alabama; Brad and Kim Holman of Montgomery, Alabama; Cory Holman of Equality, Alabama; and Dana and Raymond LaPointe of Wetumpka, Alabama; ten great-grandchildren; brothers John Mothershed, Glen Mothershed and Charles Mothershed; and sisters Mary Mulder and Ruby Sexton. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews Bob Mothershed and Roland Mothershed. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00PM at White Chapel Funeral Home in Montgomery, Alabama with Rev. Cliff Cobb officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in The Lodge Cemetery, Honoraville, Alabama.
