Flora L McLain

Flora L. McLain was born January 27, 1932, in Montgomery, Alabama and died peacefully in her sleep June 22, 2023. Flora was proceeded in death by her husband Thomas, parents Dooley and Molly Tisdale, brothers George Tisdale, Bill Joyce, Herbert Joyce, sisters Helen Thomson, Aline Woodside, and May Tillery. Grandson Luke Woodard and great grandson Bryson Barron. Flora is survived by her daughter Linda English, sons Tommy "Vonda" McLain, Michael "Lisa" McLain, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, various nieces and nephews. Flora owned and operated a beauty shop at her home for many years and was secretary at her husband's construction company. She was a long-time member of Catoma Baptist Church. A special thanks to hospice and staff of Prattville.

A celebration of life graveside service for Flora will be held Monday, June 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
