I met Frances through my aunt and her cousin, Suzy Taylor. Frances stayed in touch with me until Suzy's death. She was so kind to check on Aunt Suzy and was always concerned about Suzy's well-being. A kind and thoughtful lady. 

So thankful that Frances has been a friend at FBC for many years.  She was always the first to express joy or concern when there was a crisis in our SS class.  She would call me often, asking about someone.  Often it was looking up some detail on my computer.  She wanted to know everything.  I will miss her.

I LOVE you, Frances, with all my heart❣️ Thanks for being such a great friend thru the years. THANKS for ALL the ENCOURAGEMENT! Had no idea this would be the last picture I took of you. THANK you for your AWESOME friendship with LILLIE & bringing her into my life. Both of you were such a huge, enjoyable part of my life. You can just SEE the LOVE Lillie had for you in this picture! I will REALLY MISS you. I so enjoyed our times together! ❤️



My great comfort that they are together again!

Dianne, Linda, Ellen, Debra, Patty , Angie and Mickie, Mark, Dianne ‘s brother, and of course Teddy.  She loved you and had a story to tell about each of  you.   
We have been working/ Christian friends since July, 1973. So, you see our roads have been long with a lot of ups and downs, twists and turns but the lord has kept us grounded.
I say good bye to my friend, I’ll see you in the morning.  You’re always in my heart.

Frances became my step-mother in 1980.  My dad always spoke of his "Greek"" beauty that he was enthralled with in his younger years.  Frances and my dad's twin sister were friends and he thought the world of Frances(he always had a picture of her).  After long years, fate brought them together and Frances came into a ready made family...including grandchildren..which she embraced.  My dad got terminally ill a few years after him and Frances got married and she stayed right there with him, helping him thru his pain and praying for him, caring for him up to his death...and for all of that I am eternally grateful.  After Frances moved back to Montgomery, we did not stay in touch alot,  but she knew that we loved her and she loved us.  Heaven gained a special angel and my dad has his "Greek" beauty beside him again...and Heather has her "GrandMaw"!

Our dear Aunt Frances loved to play games...and she was a Master.  Rather than a "Hello" hug at the door, "Aunt Facky's" out-of-state- relatives could expect to be greeted with a large poster board attached to her front door spelling out specific instructions that must be followed to the letter,  before gaining admittance to her house.
On one trip the task board directed:  "Put on designated Halloween masks."  Then, "Take jump-ropes  to driveway and set "jump" timer to 10 MINUTES."  There were further instructions at her back door which involved marching around her house while LOUDLY singing  Gospel Hymns and SHOUTING  the Pledge of Allegiance repeatedly until she eventually answered the door....with hearty laughter and warm hugs.  She was truly one-of-a-kind,  ALWAYS A DELIGHT and a Special Blessing!
