Frances B. Skinner, 90, a long-time resident of the Montgomery area passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Frances worked as a legal secretary for many years and also as a caterist for wedding receptions. She was especially known for making the best cheese straws. She was a member of Capitol Heights United Methodist Church and was very active in the Wednesday night suppers serving as the head cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald V. Skinner , 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include her daughters: Pamela Poulsen (Gunner), Denmark; Constance King, Montgomery; Donna Miller (Doug), Prattville; Grandchildren: Scott King, Karli Holt, Miller King, Donald Miller, David Miller and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Capitol Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Jackie Slaughter officiating. Please join the family in a reception at the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Capitol United Methodist Church.
