Mr. Gary Wayne Branum Jr.

Mr. Gary Wayne Branum Jr. passed on May 12, 2026, at the age of 47. Gary was born in February of 1979 and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. A part of Special Olympics, he enjoyed being around others and encouraging those around him.

"Little Bit" delighted in music and old television shows. He was always ready for a trip to the beach or a ride on an ATV. He loved a good party and live music and dancing. He will be missed by all who knew him.

His family included his grandparents, Bertha Whitman, Orville "Pops" Branum, Iona Brighurst, and Lonnie Clifton Brighurst; his parents, Gary Wayne Branum Sr., and Mary Ellen Barlow Branum; his siblings, Linda (Winston) Warr, Lonnie (Jeanne) Norsworthy, Sue (John) Curlee, Mary Stuckey, Dalton Norsworthy, Mack Norsworthy, Ginger Carroll, Randy Branum, Donnie Branum and Sherri Branum.

Family and Friends Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, on Sunday, May 17, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Chapel Service will follows beginning at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Garden.
