WARREN, George Oberon, 78, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away at his home on Friday, July 15, 2011. The viewing will be open to friends on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with a Chapel Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. A private burial service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
George was a son of the late Oberon Warren and Lois Kennedy Warren. He served his country in the United States Army during the early 1950’s. He attended Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) graduating with a Pharmacy degree in 1958. George contributed to his community as a pharmacist for 50 years prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Warren and his daughter, Cynthia Abney of Montgomery, AL and son, Thomas (Tim) Warren and wife, Maureen Warren of Suwanee, GA, sister, Mary L. Warren of The Plains, VA, four grandchildren, Callie and Cody Abney of Montgomery, AL and Daniel and Sean Warren of Suwanee, GA.
