Grover Steve Tatum, 68, a resident of Orange Beach, Al., died Wednesday May 11, 2022. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Leak Memory Chapel at 2:00 PM with Jason Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Tatum was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Gulf Shores. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Ray Tatum and Esther Lee Tatum and his brothers Malcolm and Noah Tatum.
He is survived by his wife Marie Tatum, son Jason Tatum and wife Stacey, grandchildren Kathleen Ward and husband Matt, Savanna Sivert and husband David, Steven Jack Tatum and Daniel Tatum, great grandchildren Autumn Marie Sivert and Chloe Ann Joy Sivert, sisters Martha Spears and husband Walter, Sybil Davison and husband Ron, Loretta Spivey, Juanita Gordon and husband Dudley and Terry Bryant and her late husband Tony and brother Billy Tatum and wife Kim and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Watson, Dudley Gordon, David Sivert, Matt Ward, Steven Tatum and Daniel Tatum. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Food Bank.
