Helen Diane Freeman

FREEMAN, Diane, (June 20, 1953-June 19, 2013) First born daughter, beloved sister, caring friend and doting aunt is celebrating her new life in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Freeman, mother, Toni Freeman, brother, Mike Freeman, and sister, Teresa Boyd. Diane was employed at Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School as a lunchroom assistant. She was very creative and passionate about cooking as this was a perfect career for her. She had many wonderful friends at Brew Tech and cherished each one’s friendship. She is survived by her mother, Helen, sisters, Donna, Jan (Barry) Woodie, Carol , Eydie, Toinette (Russell) Mathews, & Lisa; brothers, Ron (Debra) Davis & Mike, nephew, Matt Freeman, other nieces, nephews, and cousins and three special friends, Sister Ruthie Sankey, Mike Owens, and Mrs. Rose. Diane had a very special gift of making you feel as comfortable as an old pair of worn blue jeans and a favorite t-shirt. Our family is asking in memory of Diane to wear your favorite jeans and t-shirt and join us Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 4:00 PM for a memorial service at Leak-Memory Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
